Results: 2026 U.S. Open Final Qualifying
Interesting and amusing notes from Golf's Longest Day

Happy Golf’s Longest Day to those who celebrate! Today marks the last day of final qualifying for the 2026 U.S. Open — June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club — with 43 spots up for grabs across 10 locations from Sacramento, California, to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Nineteen players have already punched their tickets to Long Island for the third men’s major of the season at three earlier final qualifiers in Dallas, England, and Japan.
Follow along below as the Fried Egg Golf staff provides updates throughout the day and shares the final results as they become official.

5:21 p.m.: Have a day, Alejandro! Would Tosti fare well at Shinnecock if he qualifies? No, probably not. But it would be very fun to watch.

2:14 p.m.: The Canadian site offers six spots, but it’s such a stacked field with the Canadian Open taking place this week. The top of the board is jam-packed with PGA Tour players. Probably a site to avoid for U.S. Open hopefuls!

Tiger Woods won’t be teeing it up at this year’s U.S. Open, but his son may be caddying? Charlie got some reps in on the bag for his future Florida State teammate Miles Russell, who had arguably the wildest day of any player. Despite making a double and triple bogey on the day, Russell earned a spot in a playoff and punched his ticket to Shinnecock on the second extra hole.
