Welcome to the New Website

It's a new day at Fried Egg Golf and we're excited to share it with you

Dear Fried Egg Golf readers,

Today marks an exciting new chapter for Fried Egg Golf, as we unveil a reimagined website designed to better serve both our longtime readers and those just discovering our community. While our mission remains unchanged – to help people connect with golf on a deeper level – we've made significant changes to how we present our work.

The most notable change you'll notice is how we organize our content, particularly our course coverage. We've moved away from the traditional blog format where older articles gradually fade into the archives. In its place, we've created dedicated course pages that serve as permanent homes for our most thoughtful and relevant content about each course and the people that designed and built them.

Some of you might wonder if this means we're becoming another course ranking site. The answer is no. While we do rate and profile courses, our goal isn't to create exhaustive lists or definitively rank every golf course. Instead, we curate our coverage to highlight courses that we believe are particularly interesting, educational, or worthy of discussion – whether due to their architectural merit, historical significance, or ability to spark meaningful debate about the game.

You'll notice that some courses don't have dedicated pages yet, and others might never have them. This is by design. We believe in writing about courses when we have something meaningful to say, rather than trying to check boxes or create comprehensive directories. Our focus remains on quality over quantity, on insight over enumeration.

The new site architecture also makes it easier to explore our extensive archive of content. Whether you're interested in course architecture, professional golf, or the broader culture of the game, you'll find it easier to discover relevant articles, both new and old. We've created clearer pathways through our content, allowing you to dive deep into topics that interest you most.

FEGC

Additionally, I would like to provide an update on Club TFE. We are transitioning Club TFE to the Fried Egg Golf Club and continuing to make investments in the club to provide the best membership we can. What you will see in the coming weeks and months is a very intentional investment into community building. While our content production schedule will stay the same, we want to improve how we foster a sense of community amongst our members. We have heard countless stories of people meeting, what are now, life-long friends through digital or in-person connections through Fried Egg Golf and we want to continue to make that happen.

For those of you that are club members, your account has been transitioned over with all of your information. To log in to your account, simply go to https://thefriedegg.com/login and enter your email—the one associated with your Fried Egg Golf Club account. To verify your identity, we'll send a 6-digit code to that email. Copy and paste the code back into our site in the box labeled 'ENTER YOUR CODE' and that's it! Pretty simple, huh? Once you're logged in, we do have a few new member-only pages that will allow you to update your profile as well as take advantage of member-only offers. You can find them by clicking the FEGC icon in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

This new version of Fried Egg Golf is very much a work in progress. We'll continue to add features, refine the experience, and most importantly, create the kind of thoughtful golf content that has always been our hallmark. Your feedback will be invaluable in this process, and we encourage you to share your thoughts as you explore the new site.

At moments like this in a company's history it's hard to feel much more than gratitude. I feel grateful for the passionate community that has supported us as well as the talented team here at Fried Egg Golf that made this vision a reality. And with that, I want to sincerely thank you for being part of the Fried Egg Golf community.

Cheers,

Andy Johnson
