Gil Hanse

Gil Hanse founded Hanse Golf Course Design in 1993, and has since been one of the most influental golf course architects in the industry. Hanse and his team have designed and restored some of the finest golf courses in the world. Some of Hanse's original designs include Olympic Golf Course (Brazil), Streamsong Black (FL), and Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco (TX). In addition to his extensive list of original designs, Hanse has restored some of the most famous championship courses in the country. Places like Oakmont Country Club (PA), Winged Foot Golf Club (NY), and Merion Golf Club (PA) are some of Hanse's highest-profile restorations.
