Course Overview
Perhaps the trickiest commission in golf architecture is building the first 18 at a destination resort, but Coore & Crenshaw’s Sand Valley navigates this challenge with aplomb
Sand Valley
While C.B. Macdonald’s recovered design at The Lido should—and likely will—be inspirational for many golf architects, the construction techniques behind it may prove even more influential
On long Wisconsin summer days, visitors often pack in as much golf as possible, and Sedge Valley now provides a convenient option with its par 68, 5,829-yard tipped-out layout
Sedge Valley
David McLay Kidd’s friendly and fun Mammoth Dunes may be the ideal resort course, but does that make it a great golf course?
Mammoth Dunes
Sand Valley's 19-hole par-3 course, designed by Coore & Crenshaw and shaped predominantly by Jim Craig, is a masterclass in green-building
