Spring Steam Shovel POSTPONED

Where: Lawsonia Links – Green Lake, WI
When: Saturday, May 15, 2021
What: The Langford & Moreau-designed Lawsonia Links is one of the best golf courses in the entire midwest. What better way to experience it than by kicking off golf season with 90 fellow golf addicts! Registration includes 36+ holes of golf (best ball in the morning, alternate shot in the afternoon, and a 4-hole shootout to determine the winner), Lawsonia’s famous fried egg breakfast sandwich and coffee, a big Wisconsin lunch, and heavy hors d’oeuvres during the awards. We’ll have great tee gifts for everyone and big prizes for the winners of the tournament and a raffle.

BONUS: All Steam Shovel participants are invited to play a round at Pine Hills CC in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on the Friday before or the Sunday after the event. If you are interested, please note in your registration form.

Format:

• Morning 18: Alternate Shot
• Afternoon 18: Best Ball

The day will end with a four-hole shootout among the top teams from the earlier sessions.

• All-day golf (36+ holes) and range balls
• Tee gifts from B. Draddy and Imperial Headwear
• Breakfast, a big Wisconsin lunch, and heavy post-golf hors d’oeuvres
• Great prizes for the winners from Bettinardi, Shapland Bags and Winston Collection
• A raffle

Traveling to Green Lake

The closest airport is Outagamie County Regional Airport in Appleton, WI. Madison (Dane County Regional Airport), Green Bay (Austin Straubel International Airport), Milwaukee International Airport and O’Hare are also easily accessible.

There are many hotels, motels, B&Bs and house rentals to choose from around town.

• The Green Lake Conference Center offers a variety of hotels, house rentals and cabins on the same property as Lawsonia. Call (920)294-3323 to make a reservation

• Bayview Motel is a 10 minute drive from the course with rooms starting at $180/night

• For a quaint bed & breakfast, check out Angel Inn, Greenway House, McConnell Inn or Millers Daughter

• Of course, Airbnb is always a great option for house rentals
