No. While we want to make sure you have the best time ever we want to make it abundantly clear that this is a trip planning and booking service. We will take care of all the details for you and introduce you to hidden gems that you might not otherwise know about but only for trips that are booked through us.
Potentially. This service is intended to be used for groups of 8+ but depending on circumstances we may be able to help smaller groups. Smaller groups may not have the flexibility or optionality of larger groups (read: we may have a few trip options with set options that we'll book for you).
We recommend starting the planning process 12-18 months in advance to secure the best tee times. The other element to consider is that it is best to start planning trips in Q1 or Q2 of the year before you plan to take the trip. Planning to go to Scotland in 2027? You should be planning and booked by early 2026.
We work with each client on their wish list of golf courses and will share the process for securing desired tee times, either through the Fried Egg Golf team or the course directly.
We aim to book trips that help you minimize the number of times you'll need to change where you're staying. We want you to be out on the course or in the towns exploring the local culture. Packing and unpacking clothes is a bore so let's not do that as much as possible.

Good is the bare necessities. Better is a well appointed room that would be perfect for a friend's trip but a place you may not want to take a spouse. Best is what it sounds like, high quality lodging with premium amenities.

While we don't provide insurance directly, we can recommend reputable travel insurance providers and advise on necessary documentation such as passports, visas, and health requirements for your destination.
We work with courses that typically offer alternative arrangements for weather-affected rounds. We also recommend travel insurance that covers trip disruptions due to weather.
