The only thing more dependable than the Club TFE Weekend Chat post is that the Dallas Cowboys will keep their coach around too long. Frankly, the NFL is more fun with Mike McCarthy around. I say let him stay as long as he wants.
Anywho, let’s talk some golf. Comment section is down yonder. Get to it!

Your weekly question
The pro-am format of professional golf tournaments has been around for decades. Both the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour have Pro-Ams this weekend, the DP World Tour had one last week, and in February, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am takes centerstage. There are obvious cons to the structure, mostly to the viewer at home, but there are undoubtedly many benefits to the organizations running and hosting these tournaments.
If men’s professional golf were to evolve to the point where there are no pro-ams at the highest level, do you believe there would be any unintended negative consequences? Is there something to be said about the role these tournaments have played in the history of the PGA Tour, or is the format just a product of yesteryear? Let me know what you think.
Matt Rouches submitted a full set for today’s music selection. I hope it leads to some productivity on this Friday.
