Over the last year, members of our team have spent a good amount of time at Colorado Golf Club. We’ve seen it in competition during the U.S. Amateur, captured photo and video at sunrise and sunset, and profiled the course in various ways. Now, it’s time to bring Club TFE along for an all-world day at an elite golf course.

Why you should see Colorado Golf Club

The first word that comes to mind when thinking of Colorado Golf Club is ‘peaceful.’ Set on a hillside just southeast of Denver, the course starts at the property’s high point, playing down into a beautiful meadow and venturing into unique pockets within its landscape. Coore and Crenshaw’s masterful routing guides you on a journey alongside the local wildlife, while also providing a fun variety of golf holes. Risk, reward, and strategy are all packed into this golf course. The mountain views and pristine, fast playing conditions are an added bonus. It is undoubtedly one of the best modern designs in America and is among our favorite Coore & Crenshaw courses.

In the area

If you haven’t been to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, this is the trip for you. Trampled by Turtles have a show at 7:00 p.m. on July 11 or stick around for one of three nights of The String Cheese Incident on July 12-14. You can buy tickets for all of these shows HERE.

Speaking of music, Hootie and the Blowfish have a show at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on July 10, the night before our day at Colorado Golf Club.

Oh, and Billy Joel has a show on July 12 at Coors Field. You have a lot to choose from!

If you’re not a snow person but enjoy the mountains, July is the perfect time to get some elevation and experience summer weather in the Rockies. Hike a 14er, white-water raft, or just relax in one of the area’s terrific mountain towns. Click HERE for a full list of local suggestions.
