Registration Information

Due to the limited field size at The Tree Farm, we'll be conducting a lottery for the FEGC Tree Farm Retreat. Lottery entries will open at Noon ET on November 4 and close at Noon ET on November 5. Winning entries will be announced and notified on Thursday, November 6.

Members can use the events passcode to access the lottery on November 4.‍

Format

Individual-round competitions amongst foursomes. Each day, groups will be assigned and we’ll run individual-round competitions for prizes. Not only can you win once, you can win four times.

Course Information

The Tree Farm - What began as a dream became a reality when The Tree Farm opened for preview play in 2023. Zac Blair long hoped to build and design his own golf course. With routing and design help from Tom Doak and Kye Goalby, Blair took a collaborative approach to the course. The result is a golfer's playground, filled with daring shots and thrilling moments.

Lodging Information

Single Occupancy - Like your own space at the end of the night? We've got you covered. The rooms at The Tree Farm are all centralized and easy to access from the golf course and clubhouse.

Double Occupancy - Coming with a buddy or a relative? Grab one of the rooms in the lodge with two Queen beds.

Crow's Nest - Above the locker room at The Tree Farm is the Crow's Nest, a private area that is just steps from the action. These four rooms are discounted due to the lack of private bathroom. The participants staying here will use the main locker room.

Caddie Information

All participants are required to walk with a caddie during our stay at The Tree Farm. Their rate is not included in your registration and is to be paid in cash during our trip. The walking rate is $140/round.

Travel Information

Airports - The closest airpot to The Tree Farm is the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE). Other options to consider that have more routes across the country include Charleston International Airport (CHS) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Both Charleson and Charlotte are about two hours from The Tree Farm.

Hotels - All participants in the event will stay on site at The Tree Farm. There is the option to say on your own, stay with a friend in double occupancy lodging, or grab one of the Crow's Nest rooms above the locker room in the main clubhouse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each participant can request up to two spots.

Does everyone have to be an FEGC member? - FEGC members will be prioritized in the lottery but assuming we have space we will happily add non-FEGC friends.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

What is your refund policy? - For the Tree Farm trip, refunds will be provided when your spot(s) are filled by people on the waitlist.

Are caddies required? - Yes, every round of our trip will be accompanied by caddies and are to be paid by the individual. Caddies are to be paid $140/round.

Can I ride a cart at The Tree Farm? - No, this is a walking only event.

Can I sign up for just one night? - We want this trip to be a group trip that we experience together. With that in mind, we are asking that all registrations be for both nights of lodging and all rounds of golf. If we were to have additional space, we would then open up the trip to singular lunch-to-lunch availability.
