Format

Two-person, 54-hole team competition. The team with the lowest scores in Net and Gross throughout the two days will win prizes from Fried Egg Golf and our partners. The scores combine your best ball scores across all three rounds. Players will play best ball for each round. Participation is not required. If you'd like to hangout and play golf for the day, you are more than welcome to do so.

Colorado Golf Club - From Andy Johnson's Colorado Golf Club Course Profile: "Coore & Crenshaw’s Colorado Golf Club is one of the pair’s most decorated championship designs. It has hosted the 2010 U.S. Senior Open, the 2013 Solheim Cup, and the 2019 U.S. Mid Amateur; and it was the second venue for the 2023 U.S. Amateur, alongside nearby Cherry Hills Country Club. Like much of Coore & Crenshaw best work, CGC elegantly navigates a unique landscape, blending with and accentuating the terrain it sits on.

"Blindness, a trait common to many great golf courses, is plentiful at Colorado Golf Club, creating a thrill and activating your subconscious mind while you’re standing over shots. This theme encourages multiple rounds at CGC, as the initial outing can be somewhat disorienting. C&C waste no time introducing blindness: the tee shot on the par-5 first hole is completely blind. After teeing off over a ridge, walkers are treated to a breathtaking reveal, as the rest of the hole tumbles down to a green set against the distant Colorado foothills. This type of blindness generates a sense of adventure, something you go to a place like the Denver area to find."

Rodeo Dunes - Located less than an hour from Denver International Airport, Rodeo Dunes represents Dream Golf's most accessible course in its growing portfolio. The first course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crensaw. The duo was given their pick of hundreds of acres of untouched dunesland. Bill Coore referred to the site as “some of the most gifted we’ve ever come across.” Rodeo Dunes will only be open to member play in 2026. Well, besides our event of course. ‍

Around Colorado Golf & Rodeo Dunes

Grab a game - Those staying around Denver have the chance to see one of the best stadiums in the league at Coors Field. Following the first day of our event at Colorado Golf Club, head downtown to see the Rockies take on the Orioles at 6:40 p.m. You can get tickets on the Rockies website.

Visit Red Rocks - For our music fans, Goose is playing at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, August 28. You can get tickets on the Red Rocks website.

Travel Information

AIRPORTS - Denver International Airport (DIA) is the easiest way to fly in for the event. The airport is approximately 30 minutes from CGC and 45 minutes to Rodeo Dunes.

HOTELS - The Parker Hotel is right down the road from CGC and the Hampton Inn Parker and Holiday Inn Parker aren't far away either. If you want to stay closer to the middle of the two courses, look anywhere near Denver International Airport. If you stay downtown in Denver, it is just over an hour to Rodeo Dunes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FEGC member to sign up? Nope! Fried Egg Golf Club members have 24 hours of early registration but everyone is welcome to enter our events. If an event is full, toss your name on a waitlist and we'll fill as people need to drop out.

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each FEGC member can reserve up to two spots during early registration. Public registrations can reserve up to four spots.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone we meant it.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds can be requested up to 30 days out of the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
