Course Information

Lawsonia Links - If you’ve followed Fried Egg Golf for any length of time, you know that Lawsonia is one of our favorite spots in the country. The course’s architecture stands the test of time, providing numerous exhilarating shots throughout. We’re even more excited for 2026 thanks to the work the ownership has done to improve the course. Over the last three years, they have redone all the bunkers and increased fairway widths, helping expose even more of the brilliance in Langford & Moreau’s design. Expect a firm and fiery Lawsonia Links come September.

"The Links at Lawsonia is one of the best public courses in America and in the argument for the best course—public, private, or resort—in Wisconsin. The Langford & Moreau design pairs rolling topography with a set of bold manufactured greens and bunkers. Regular blind shots create a sense of adventure throughout the course, which matches the spirit of remoteness in Green Lake, Wisconsin, a place people have historically gone to escape." - Andy Johnson

Additional Golf Available

Kenosha CC - September 13, 2026 - Tee times available beginning at 10:00 a.m. for $175/player. Located just north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border, Kenosha CC is a Donald Ross design with a membership that truly cares about maintaining their club and golf course. They've done great work in recent years especially. And for those doing the Lawsonia-Onwentsia event double, this is the perfect stop in between.

Pine Hills - September 13, 2026 - Full details to be announced.

Additional opportunities available to FEGC members

Around The Country Club

Make it a Double - Two days after our event at Lawsonia is another awesome opportunity in the form of a Fried Egg Event at Onwentsia Club north of Chicago. An early U.S. Open host, Onwentsia is an old-school club with a rich history. Fill in some golf or baseball in between and you have yourself a hell of a trip.

Watch the Brewers - Our event falls smack in the middle of home stand for the (dreaded) Milwaukee Brewers. You can catch them on Friday night ahead of the event or Sunday afternoon against the Reds.

And Possibly the Packers - The NFL schedule won't come out for a bit, but check to see if the Packers are home on September 13. If they are, Lambeau Field is just a short drive north.

Travel Information

AIRPORTS - Your closest options are Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE, 1 hour and 45 mins away) and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (2 hours, 45 mins away)

HOTELS - Green Lake has limited lodging options but the Heidel House and Green Lake Inn are popular choices from our event participants. There are some Airbnb options popping up as well

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FEGC member to sign up? Nope! Fried Egg Golf Club members have 24 hours of early registration but everyone is welcome to enter our events. If an event is full, toss your name on a waitlist and we'll fill as people need to drop out.

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each FEGC member can reserve up to two spots during early registration. Public registrations can reserve up to four spots.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone we meant it.

Can I sign up for an add-on without being in the main event? - No. Participants in the add-on rounds must be registered for full event on Monday.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds can be requested up to 30 days out of the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
