The Tour completes the fall season at the RSM Classic this week in Georgia. This event is held on two courses at Sea Island (Seaside and Plantation). Both of these courses will yield a large amount of birdies. They are both fairly open off the tee and put the largest emphasis on iron play into the smaller-than-average fast greens. With both of these courses playing fairly short, I expect to see a lot of approaches from 100-150 yards this week. Being able to consistently hit these shots within a makeable birdie range will be paramount to success.
DraftKings
Chris Kirk $8,500
Kirk is your typical horse for a course. In his last five appearances, he has three top-5 finishes, including a win in 2013. He doesn’t have the greatest record as of late, but that is what gives us an $8,500 price tag instead of $9,500. His game suits this track very well. Brian Harman $8,000
Harman is priced pretty low considering how weak this field is. Harman has shown the ability to win, especially when playing in the Southeast. The Georgia Bulldog would love to capture the title here after finishing 4th last year. Harman is very good with his wedges and short irons and should be able to contend this week.
One-and-Done
CT Pan
Pan has finished 6th and 13th in his two appearances at this event. He comes into this event finishing in the top 30 in five of his last six events.
Kevin Kisner
Kisner has been in a bit of a funk lately, but there is no better place for him to return to form than this week. In the last four years, he has three top-4 finishes, including a win in 2015. Kisner has played some of his best golf in the Southeast.
