Welcome to the Club TFE Blog

Welcome to the Club TFE blog, what we’re told some onlookers have unofficially called The Catch Basin. That name is still under review as we get this membership and this blog humming at the start of 2023.

We are extremely appreciative of your early support and will hustle to ensure you get value from joining Club TFE. Part of that effort will occur here at the Club TFE blog, which will feature posts with writing that’s both long and short, images that can do all the talking, and other discussion points. There’s also a comment section for each post, where we’d encourage you to join a civil discussion with other Club TFE members. Fried Egg staff will also frequently hang out there, adding to the discussion or supplementing the post that came above it. We invite you to introduce yourselves below, if you’d like, as the community around this blog begins in the new year. Our hope is that this becomes a vibrant space for golf wanderlusts to hang and interact with each other.

If you’re reading this, you’re already a Club TFE member and probably aware of the offering, but here are the other things you’ll get beyond this blog. Included in your membership is a weekly course profile. We have profiles on Sand Hills and Los Angeles Country Club already up for your reading and viewing pleasure. Profiles will include an Egg rating for each course, and you can read more about what goes into our first rating system here. There will also be a monthly video, and January’s item on the process of building a green at the Tree Farm is also already up for your viewing. Finally, check out our first blog post, in which members of our staff make golf-related predictions for 2023.

We think this members-only website will be a fun place to check in on throughout your day and week, so we would recommend bookmarking the Club TFE homepage. We also know this is just the start of this membership. It will continue to evolve and we are confident it will look different—for the better—in the coming months and year.
