This week’s event, the RSM Classic, is the PGA Tour’s final official event of 2021. Both host courses—Seaside and Plantation at Sea Island Resort—reward accuracy off the tee, solid short iron play, and a hot putter. That means some longshots could succeed here. Remember, the last five winners of the RSM have been Robert Streb, Tyler Duncan, Austin Cook, Mackenzie Hughes, and Kevin Kisner.

Here are three players to target in DraftKings this week:

Kevin Kisner $9,200

The Sea Island courses are among the best fits on the PGA Tour for Kisner. His game is predicated on keeping the ball in play off the tee, precise short irons, and above average putting. So it comes as no surprise that he has finished seventh or better in five of his past seven starts at the RSM Classic.

Robert Streb $7,500·

Streb, winner of this event in both 2014 and 2020, is a great value play at Sea Island. He’s in great form, having finished ninth or better in two of his past three starts. He was T-7 last week in Houston.

Davis Thompson $6,400

Thompson was one of the top amateurs in the world and is now one of the most promising young pros on the PGA Tour. He’s an elite ball-striker with an insanely high birdie rate; he actually reminds me of a fresh-out-of-college Matthew Wolff. Also, Thompson is a Sea Island local, played in the last two editions of this event, and placed fourth in an SEC Championship held here.
